The wedding industry has been through some truly difficult times over the last few years, attempting to navigate the ever-changing Covid climate. As a wedding community, every member of our group has felt the impacts of Covid and I am touched by the comradery and kindness our members have shown, not only to each other but also to the wider wedding and events industry.
If this year has shown us anything it is that creating community over competition is essential to maintaining the integrity of our very special industry.
This year Tamborine Mountain Weddings Group hosted both a Wedding Trail and a Wedding Expo. Despite all the restrictions we had great success and, more importantly, our members were able to showcase their talents once again.
“We are already planning our next expo for 2022 and our members are very much looking forward to kicking off the new year with another amazing event.”
Tamborine Mountain Weddings Group recently celebrated the year that was, with our member’s Christmas party. We look forward to it every year as it’s a wonderful opportunity to catch up with the people we work so closely with, and rely on, throughout the year. We don’t often have time at busy weddings and events to spend a few moments catching up and it’s so lovely that we were all able to come together and enjoy each other’s company and say goodbye to 2021.
I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank all the Tamborine Mountain Weddings Group members, our industry friends, and colleagues for making this very tough year so much easier, and a lot more fun, by their continued support and encouragement. And a very special thank you to the executive team of Tamborine Mountain Weddings Group, you are so talented and true assets to our beautiful group.
