Hello Spring, we’ve been waiting for you! The sun in shining, the skies above are the brightest of blues, birdsong is filling the air, bees are a’buzzin and all the pretty flowers are starting to burst open. Spring is always one of the loveliest seasons for so many reasons, but here on the hilltop it is especially beautiful because we are blessed with such an incredible range of flora + fauna, and after a chilly winter (you need a fireplace up here, it gets very chilly!) Tamborine Mountain quite literally springs to life when the calendar clicks over to September each year.

A sense of renewal can always be felt in the air during Springtime up here, the warmer weather is welcome and our florists delight in sourcing local in-season blooms that are now all of a sudden available once more. Nature truly does put on the most stunning display throughout September, October and November and the weather is just spot on, warmer but not too hot, however here on Tamborine Mountain the weather is always divine no matter the season due to our altitude and the fact that we have far less humidity up here. Experiencing no humidity on your wedding day, is never something to take for granted, let’s face it!

Springtime just makes us feel good all round – so why not choose this magical season to get married. The options are endless here on Tamborine Mountain and currently intimate weddings and elopements are trending, due to the Covid…but you know what, your wedding day is about you and your partner, making a commitment to spending your lives together and there’s really no greater time to sign that certificate and make it official.
