We all love a styled shoot, but there’s no mistaking the fact that they take a lot of organising and it’s not often that our members have the time to instigate, let alone organise one… so when one of the lovely in-house Wedding Co-ordinators at the historical St Bernards Hotel put a call out a few months back, a number of our talented suppliers jumped at the chance to be involved.

Needless to say a super creative team was quickly established for this shoot, which was designed to showcase the stunning views and magical ceremony setting that’s available to all couples choosing to marry at this iconic property. Set right on the edge of the escarpment at the southern end of Tamborine Mountain, St Bernards Hotel has had pride of place since 1912-1914 when it was built by John Siganto, after the original purchase of the land was made by Robert Muir back in 1881.

With a rich history as the mountain’s largest & most famous hotel, it overlooks the stunning Tamborine Valley, Guanaba Gorge and offers views stretching to the Gold Coast, the Pacific Ocean and even as far as Moreton Island.

Today, St Bernards prides itself on its country home-style atmosphere, with great food, good people and the warm ambience typical of a country pub. With an incredible setting like this, there are a number of Ceremony locations available for couples to choose from, many with incredible views like the shot above showcases which is the most popular and impressive options for your Reception too.

The Grand Marquee accommodates 35 to 200 guests, The Rafters Room seats 30 guests which is perfect for intimate celebrations and the professional catering team at St Bernards Hotel ensure the service of delicious food that will impress your guests. There are also endless incredible photo opportunities within easy walking distance within and from the property including the magical St Bernards Falls and on-site accommodation in the form of “Edges” – a 3 bedroom luxury lodge that is perfect for accommodating wedding groups on pre and post wedding nights.

So much is on offer at this incredible wedding venue – make sure it’s on your list to view today, along with the amazing suppliers who helped bring this styled shoot vision to life.
